welcome tree b & B - CalstockThe Tamar Valley train line which consists of one carriage - perhaps 2 in high season - will trundle you over the Calstock Viaduct, through fantastic scenery and on into Plymouth and you save all the parking hassle. Go from Gunnislake or Calstock station where parking is free. The 3 hour wait for the next return journey can be spent shopping in the New Drakes Circus Centre, or alternatively enjoy the Aquarium with a vast selection of interesting marine life. If neither appeals - then a wander through the Barbican and the old part of the quayside is both interesting and informative.

Cotehele on the River TamarCotehele is a very short drive down to the river where you can enjoy the antiquity of this famous National Trust House, take your time wandering through gardens or even walk there over the hill from Calstock then take the ferry back again.
